Terms of use

These terms set out how you may use the SnoCream website and related online enquiry services. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to comply with all applicable South African laws.

1. Using the SnoCream website responsibly

This website is provided for information about soft-serve and frozen yoghurt machines, mixes, cones, service support and related products supplied by SnoCream in South Africa. You may browse the site, submit an enquiry through the contact form, and review product details for your own business use, provided you do so lawfully and without interfering with the operation of the site.

You must not use the site to send false, misleading or abusive material, attempt unauthorised access, copy content for resale, or use automated tools to extract information without prior written permission. Where a product is shown, the description is intended to help cafes, kiosks and restaurants make informed decisions, but final suitability depends on your site conditions, power supply, floor space and service requirements.

  • Use the site only for lawful business or informational purposes.
  • Do not interfere with security, forms or technical functions.
  • Do not submit another person’s details without permission.

2. Product information, pricing and availability

We work to keep product information accurate, current and practical for customers in Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Gqeberha and other areas we serve. However, specifications, stock levels, lead times and pricing can change without notice. Pictures, dimensions, output figures and performance notes are provided as guidance and may vary from batch to batch or from one installation to another.

Any quotation, invoice or written confirmation from SnoCream will override general website information for that order. In South Africa, VAT treatment, delivery charges and installation requirements may differ depending on the destination, access conditions and whether the site is in a coastal or inland location. If your premises are affected by load-shedding, limited parking, narrow access or municipal trading rules, these may affect the final scope of supply.

  • Website content is not a binding offer to supply.
  • Orders are subject to stock confirmation and payment terms.
  • Special requests must be approved in writing before dispatch or installation.

3. Enquiries, quotations and communication

When you submit an enquiry through our contact page, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to request business information on behalf of your organisation. SnoCream may use the details you submit to respond to your query, prepare a quotation, arrange a site visit, or follow up on service matters.

Our team, including sales, technical support, logistics and customer care, may contact you about the specific matter raised on the form. We may also ask for clarifying details such as machine type, power supply, delivery address, opening hours and access conditions. Please note that response times can vary during busy seasons, public holidays and periods of high service demand.

  • Use the enquiry form for genuine business queries only.
  • Provide accurate contact details and site information.
  • Do not use the form for unsolicited marketing or spam.

4. Installation, servicing and customer obligations

Where SnoCream supplies machine installation, startup commissioning, operator training, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, deep clean service, seal and parts, mix calibration, site relocations, phone support, sanitising supplies or season prep checks, the customer must provide safe access to the premises, suitable power, clean working conditions and reasonable cooperation from staff. If the site has unstable supply, water constraints, coastal humidity or limited ventilation, you must disclose this before work begins.

Service work may require a machine to be switched off, moved, cleaned or left out of operation for a period of time. We are not responsible for delays caused by missing parts, third-party installers, unsafe site conditions, municipal restrictions, or events outside our control. The customer remains responsible for routine hygiene, daily cleaning and the correct use of the equipment after handover.

  • Keep the machine area clean and accessible.
  • Follow the operating instructions given during training or commissioning.
  • Report faults, leaks or unusual noise as soon as possible.

5. Intellectual property and permitted use of content

All text, layout, images, graphics, product descriptions and supporting material on this website are the property of SnoCream or are used with permission. You may view and print limited sections for your own internal business reference, but you may not reproduce, republish, distribute or adapt the content for commercial use without written consent.

Any trade marks, product names or service marks appearing on the site remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this website grants you a licence or right to use any intellectual property except as expressly allowed in writing. If you believe content has been used incorrectly, please raise the matter through the enquiry form so that it can be reviewed.

  • Do not copy website content for another business or catalogue.
  • Do not alter product images or remove notices.
  • Do not claim ownership of SnoCream content or materials.

6. Liability, law and operator details

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of SnoCream. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
